The heartbeat of OIL is personal and corporate spiritual renewal, the strengthening of local churches, and equipping the attendees for personal ministry. Event: Resurgence Training Program (RE:TRAIN)...The Resurgence Training Program is a one-year, intensive, cohort-based program designed to train leaders practically and theologically. The program is designed after popular “executive style” graduate programs to serve students currently serving in full-time ministry or for those who do not have time for semester-long courses. The Resurgence Training Center is month long intensive courses of personal study culminating in Friday/Saturday classroom sessions. Students meet physically eight times per academic year; six weekend courses and two, one-week courses. The Resurgence Training Center (Re:train) was founded as the leadership development engine for Mars Hill Church, Acts 29, and the broader Resurgence movement. The Resurgence Training Center’s mission is to raise up leaders for gospel saturated ministry to serve their churches in a Biblically faithful, culturally accessible way.
